How We Change Reality
More than two thousand years ago,
a short text explained how reality operates.
Most people treat it as religious, under the name Diamond Sutra.
But when we read between the lines,
it sounds strikingly similar to quantum physics.
Today, I invite you to put down the boundaries of religion
and look more deeply at this 2000 year old text
through the lens of modern science.
In quantum physics,
at the smallest observable level,
the world is not fixed or solid.
Matter behaves less like objects
and more like possibilities.
Before interaction, quantum systems exist as probabilities.
When interaction occurs, those probabilities resolve into a specific outcome.
This behavior has been demonstrated
through one of the most repeated experiments in science.
The wave like or particle like behavior of quantum systems
depends on which path information is available.
When no path information is measured,
particles behave like waves.
When path information is introduced,
outcomes settle into a defined form.
The double slit experiment has been repeated thousands of times.
It has been performed with photons, electrons, atoms,
and even large molecules.
Results remain consistent across laboratories around the world.
From this, we can conclude that at a fundamental level,
reality does not fully settle until interaction occurs.
Possibility comes before form.
The Diamond Sutra expressed the same insight.
Most people understand the Sutra’s phrase
“all phenomena are illusory”
as superficial moral advice or a self-cultivation attitude.
But when we study the text,
it reveals what quantum physics has only begun to understand
in the past hundred years.
The Sutra points to a truth that is both unsettling and freeing.
The reality you perceive is a system generated by where you dwell.
You dwell in identity, emotions, fears, and expectations,
and the world repeatedly generates the same script
according to where your awareness rests.
The essence of the world is this.
The mountains and rivers we live in,
our loves and hates,
our successes and failures,
are like the dazzling graphics
and moving storylines of a game,
generated by precise code behind the scenes.
We spend our lives chasing images in the movie,
feeling joy and sorrow over gains and losses,
yet rarely pause to examine
or modify the original code that generates them.
Seen this way, emptiness is not nothingness.
It is an infinite possibility.
An undefined and unfixed original state.
The moment the mind settles,
reality begins to take shape.
Again, this is exactly what quantum physics points to.
Breaking illusion does not mean breaking external appearances.
It means breaking inner trust in appearances.
Appearances trap us only because we believe
they represent reality itself.
When insights separated by two thousand years meet,
this is what becomes clear:
When you begin to see that thoughts are just thoughts,
emotions are just emotions,
and identities are just roles,
you loosen your grip on the system we call reality.
From here, reality can be rewritten through simple steps that require real commitment.
Step one:Become the debugger of your life
Observe recurring patterns.
Anger over similar situations.
Pain in similar relationships.
These are loops or faulty commands in your personal code.
Step two:Practice detachment
When emotions or difficulties arise,
do not immediately agree with them or act from them.
Observe without moving in.
Your awareness shifts from the character in the story
to the observer behind the scenes.
Step three: Enter a new core belief
This is where the ARAE framework from my book comes in.
Aware.
When awareness interrupts an old loop, a window opens.
You see the pattern without becoming it.
Reprogram.
Install a new instruction.
Replace “I am destined to fail” with
“I allow all possibilities to flow through me.”
Replace “I am not worthy of love” with
“I am a complete being.”
Accept.
Acknowledge the old loops with gratitude and let them go.
They were not mistakes.
They built resilience and served their purpose.
Evolve.
Bring the new code into action.
Live from it.
Embody the reality you are now choosing.
In doing these steps, you install a new operating system.
Your true creative power is shaped by the conviction you hold within.
When you stop clinging,
the old program stops executing automatically.
Suffering loosens its grip.
You live in reality without being bound by it.
Think about it.
Every real breakthrough follows the same pattern.
Someone stops living inside the current version of reality.
Flight became possible when the Wright brothers refused to accept that humans could not fly.
The iPhone emerged when Steve Jobs redefined what a phone could be.
Selling books online became normal when Jeff Bezos ignored the belief that books must be bought in stores.
These moments looked like magic.
But, this is how we change reality.
The same law applies in daily life.
When you stop abiding in old stories, fears, and limits,
life gains room to reorganize.
Awaken now.
Be free.
Be bold.
With love & light,
